Web2Msg

Web2Msg

I needed to send a friend an SMS back home (Australia) the other day, and my phone had run out of batteries, again, though I did forget to charge it the night before.  That was when I remembered Web2Msg.com, which allows you to send free SMS messages to any Australian mobile phone (or cell, if you roll like that).  The best thing is, there’s no signups required, no annoying popups, and no forced advertising in the sent messages.

So, if you’re a bum, and you can’t afford a mobile phone battery, or credit for your prepaid phone, give it a go!  And best of all, it’s a feat of .NET programming.

I’m real happy with web2msg with my boyfriend being in Australia and me being here, communication is everything. My phone for some reason wont receive or send to Australia all the time. It’s hit and miss and it’s really frustrating and costly as well. The web2msg thing saved me a lot of grief! Thanks! ;)

Oh, lol, by “here” , I mean in Texas! 8000+ miles away Australia. :( The web2msg site is the only one I’ve found that gets replies and actually works most of the time except for occassionally, like tonight, it only let me send one or two text but I think it’s just new bugs working themselves out. Other than that lil snag, it’s great. :)
