I’ve found a good thing to do is sit down, music in ears, and just nod head and ignore everything else whilst smiling like a tranced out raver. No-one bugs me for a seat then, doesn’t disturb me..

I hate sharing my seat with people on the bus. I hate people who won’t move over and free up the seat next to them more.

So I leave the seat next to me vacant, but do all i can to look like someone you don’t want to sit next too. Seem it works fairly well too, the knack seems to be sitting in the right seat and looking grouchy.

There’s a bit of prick in all of us, there’s a lot of prick in those affected by the North. Probably a good reason to stay away, on second thoughts..
